Jesse Burns is a 27-year-old raft guide on the Arkansas River in Colorado and the Gauley and New Rivers in West Virginia. He has been guiding since 2006 when he moved from West Virginia to Buena Vista, Colorado. In the time Jesse has been guiding, he has run and trip lead commercial trips on every section of the Arkansas, Gauley and New Rivers as well as trips on the Colorado, Dolores and Gunnison Rivers. He has been fortunate enough to have rafted privately all over the country including two Grand Canyon expeditions, the Middle Fork of the Salmon and trips on the American, Kern, Rio Grande, Youghiogheny rivers and many others.

DUDE! I had no clue you were so savvy as to have your own blog! How cool!

I hope your summer in CO is awesome. Sounds like there was some good snow. Seeing the pictures from the Ark bring a smile to my face. I miss that place terribly after calling it home for 10 years.

At any rate, I would love to discuss your blog with you. NARR could use some help with blogs. Give me a shout on email if you are at all interested in helping us out.

I hope you saw your face made the Upper Gauley spread in the 2011 catalog. I also posted it on NARR’s FB. I guess I’m trying to make you more of a star than you already are!

Hope all is well, and look forward to the Colorado Crew coming back for Gauley. Give the Ark, Salida, and the Collegiate Peaks a smile for me.

Tussen Tak!

Thanks for the AWESOME trip yesterday doing the “marathon” Arkansas tour from Wildhorse and down through Brown’s Canyon. You’re the best guide, taking great care of us guests with the sweaters and coffee :)
We’ll totally be back and will request you.
Love the blog, and we’ll send you some pics from the trip once we get them developed.

Spent my day dodging traffic nothing like the spicy rapids and big hits you shared with us this weekend. One of the best trips I have been on. Looking forward to next year. How do I link up with you on Facebook.

If you are ever in the DC area hit me up.
